The South Carolina Chapter of the Assisted Living Federation of America (SCALFA) is dedicated to professionally operated assisted living communities for seniors and their suppliers of services. SCALFA works to promote resident-centered public policy initiatives before the South Carolina General Assembly and state regulatory agencies including the Department of Health & Environmental Control. SCALFA also hosts high caliber continuing education opportunities for assisted living providers that builds on a commitment of high quality care for seniors residing in South Carolina’s residential care homes (assisted living communities). SCALFA is the official state organization of the Assisted Living Federation of America and supports and promotes ALFA’s philosophy of resident-centered care.
