ALFA in the States

ALFA is committed to maintaining strong resident-centered regulation of assisted living at the state level. As part of that commitment, ALFA monitors legislation and pending regulations in each state.

Every time there is a change to state legislation or regulation that may have an impact on your business, ALFA posts it in the state or states affected.  ALFA members can subscribe to the states in which they operate and get an email or RSS feed from ALFA every time there is a change.  That is, after you sign up, you won't have to come back here to find out if there has been any change.

To get started, go to the map above and click on a state in which you operate.  Here you'll find a wealth of information:

  • links to current regulations
  • links to current legislation that may impact your business.
  • links to state government websites
  • links to government officials
  • link to your state affiliate or chapter
